The boring, important part

Specs.

Body

Hardened steel disc body with a shrouded shackle — the shape bolt cutters hate. Powder-coated in KISS red or matte graphite.

Power

None. The lock harvests energy from your phone's NFC field. There is no battery to replace, because there is no battery.

Weather

IP67. Rated −20°F to 140°F. Tested through an Ohio February, which is the only certification that really counts.

Connectivity

NFC only. No Bluetooth pairing, no Wi-Fi at the door, no hub. Credentials validate locally — it works in a dead zone.

Access

Unlimited tap passes. Set an end date, revoke instantly, read the access log. Host and guest roles built in.

Requires

An NFC-capable iPhone (XS or later) or Android (most since 2018) and the free KISS·Lock app.

Fine, ask

The questions everyone asks.

What if I lose my phone?

Sign in to our free app on a new phone. Once logged in, your claimed locks can then be unlocked with a tap.

Can I give someone access?

Yes. Create and manage access for the people who need it, right from the KISS·Lock app. Give someone the right credential without handing over a key.

Really no battery?

Really. The lock draws power from your phone's NFC field for the half-second it needs. Nothing to charge, nothing to die at the worst possible moment.

No signal, no problem.

Security happens on the lock. It checks your credential itself, so a dead zone is just a place, not a lockout.
